Rules and Regulations
School Almanac :
- Student should carry the Student Almanac daily to school.
- Student should affix his / her photograph and fill in the required information in the space provided for in the Student Almanac and signed duly by the parent(s).
- Student should bring to the notice of the teacher / parents if any entry is made in the Student Almanac.
- Parents please, read and sign the pages specifying the mandatory Rules and Regulations, Code of Conduct and General Information of School Almanac.
Late Arrival to School :
- All students should report to the school on time. Reporting late to school will be allowed only after meeting the Principal. If a student is late once, he / she will be sent to the class with a verbal / written warning. If a student repeats coming late, disciplinary action will be initiated as recommended by the School Discipline Committee.
Attendance :
- Students are to be present on the first and the last working days of every term, and should have atleast 80% attendance, to be eligible for promotion at the end of the year.
- Students with 100% attendance will receive an appreciation – Roll of Honour accompanied by an Award at the end of the academic year.
- Students with less than 80% attendance may be permitted to appear for the Term / Annual Examination only on the Principal’s recommendation. How ever, such students are not eligible to receive the Roll of Honour or receive any award.
Special Awards :
The following awards will be given for classes 1 to 10.
- Academics
- Attendance
- Competitive Exams and Sports
- Discipline
- Honest & All rounder
- Best (Spoken English) Orator
- School Uniform
Leave Policy :
- Prior permission should be taken from the Principal for a short leave (a day or two).
- Short leave will be granted only in the case of an emergency call by the parents or when the child falls sick in the school and thereby allowed to ge home. Such a leave will be sanctioned only by the Principal at his / her discretion.
- Absence beyond three days without any kind of permission will be dealt seriously, except in the case of illness. Leave Application in case of illness must be accompanied by a Doctor / RMP’s (Recognised Medical Practitioner) Certificate stating that the child is fit and ready to continue classes.
- Repeated absence without leaves or unexplained absence for more than fifteen consecutive days renders the student liable to have his / her name struck off from the rolls. Re-Admission may be granted only at the discretion of the Principal.
- Leave Letter on A4 Size Sheet is mandatory for every leave.
- The leave letter must be addressed to the Principal and has to be from the Parent.
